Course Objectives

To teach students how to analyze a variety of production systems with a systems perspective.

Course Description

This course introduces production systems to the students. Specifically, it deals with high level design of production system. Before any detailed work on production systems can be done, one needs to understand the design of such systems with a system review, paying special attention to the relationships between parts and management of design of production systems.
